Why don't all programs show a number for every route?
We only publish a points figure where a program has a fixed, published award chart that resolves to your route. Dynamically-priced programs (and routes we haven't compiled a chart for yet) are flagged rather than given a static number that could be wrong.
What's the difference between fixed and dynamic results?
Fixed means a published chart — the exact points price, the same regardless of the cash fare. Dynamic means the points cost moves with demand, so we show it as estimate-only. The fixed-chart redemptions are where the predictable value lives.
Does the points cost include taxes and fees?
No. The points figure excludes taxes, fees and any carrier surcharges, which are paid in cash on top and vary by airline and route.
